Leze (Ivezaj) Camaj was a beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was a very compassionate person. Lezja was a force bigger than life itself. Her free spirit, resilience and pure love touched so many lives over the course of her 34 years of life. She will never be forgotten for her dedication to live, intelligence, kindness and beautiful smile. She was a lady of quiet strength and unwavering love for her family and friends. Lezja was a truly beautiful woman, both inside and out. She was a faithful and supportive wife, loving mother and a joyous person. She was honest, loving, gentle and always had a smile and a genuine little laugh for anyone she encountered. Lezja was born in Lekaj, Montenegro, formerly Yugoslavia, to Mirash and Djella Ivezaj on September 18, 1969. She married Djeto Camaj on December 28, 1985, in the United States of America. She had two beautiful children ; Valbona Camaj, on November 17, 1986 and Alban Camaj on October 5, 1987. Lezja’s life was tragically cut short from Melanoma at the age of 34. Cancer took her exquisite life away from us and her. Her dedication to live and be with her children inspired us all. She struggled from medicine to medicine, chemo therapy to radiation, and doctor to doctor with dignity. With many surgeries in her path she came out with a smile on her face. At the end her doctors told her there was nothing else they could do to save her life and she chose not to tell her closest family, not even her children in fear of breaking their hearts. She did not know how to leave them behind.. She gave her last breath at home with her children and sister. The people she loved the most. We respected her wishes, and took her body back home to be laid to eternal rest in the Vuksanaj Cemetary in Montenegro. We honor you, Leze, each passing day. We are happy that your pain and suffering ended but we will always miss you and love you. You live through the hearts of your children and grandchildren and the memories of all the people you touched. We rejoice that you are now with the Lord in Heaven. Leze may you rest in peace forever. Please feel free to add stories, pictures, sounds or videos so that we can remember Lezja together.
